Everybody likes to talk about themselves.  Now's my chance!  So here's my story.  Read on, if you dare . . . ​

From a young age, I understood that I could feel what others were feeling. It wasn’t about knowing their thoughts. It was about sensing their emotions, and appreciating them as if they were my own. For years, I thought of it simply as empathy. But later, a gifted psychic shared something that changed my understanding: What people are feeling is what they are thinking. I finally understood that feelings are attached to every thought. That realization made perfect sense to me, because humans are, after all, emotional beings. 

Years later, I was on a journey in Mexico and had a spontaneous out-of-body experience. I connected with far-away people that I knew, and perceived places that I had never been. I am a natural skeptic, so crosschecking and verification have been very important to me. During that journey, I gained private information that I was later able to verify. I have used that same rigorous standard while honing my psychic abilities. 

 

When I returned home, I discussed this experience with a close friend.  He handed me a book and said, "Goodman, you need to read this." That book was Journeys Out of the Body by Robert Monroe.

Reading that book ultimately led me to the Monroe Institute in Virginia, a pioneering center for research into human consciousness. While the Monroe Institute is well known for out-of-body exploration, what I discovered there went beyond non-physical travel. For me it was about connection: to expanded states of awareness, to inner guidance and the “Higher Self,” and to loved ones who have crossed over. It was there, during my earliest program, that I first spoke with my father, who had passed ten years earlier. It was a very emotional moment that forever deepened my understanding of what it means to be connected beyond the physical, and proved to me that we are more than our physical bodies.  

Over more than twenty-five years, and through many week-long Monroe Institute programs, my childhood sensitivities have evolved into a mature, grounded relationship with my intuitive and psychic gifts. 

Before dedicating myself to this path, I spent many years as a filmmaker and editor in Hollywood, a career that taught me to observe people, emotion, and story with sensitivity and detail. As that chapter came to a natural close, I was guided to a new calling: to uplift and empower through intuitive guidance and spiritual connection.

My philosophy is simple but deeply important to me: I don’t do this work to garner gratitude or recognition, I do it to be of service. Each session is an opportunity to help someone find peace, clarity, and connection, and that, to me, is a wonderful reward.​
